Overheating issues with Talon's are uncommon. They are more likely to occur when mudding but can occur for other reasons. Overheating can cause significant engine damage, so please keep those temps down. If you mud your machine, a portable electric sprayer can help keep the radiator clear.
More than 2 "0" marks on the temp display.
Steam under the hood
Mud/dirt packed in radiator fins
Dirt or corrosion coating or filming on the radiator fins
Radiator fan flow direction (should be Front-to-Rear, a few machine has been delivered with the fan improperly connected)
Air bubbles in water pump or thermostat
Improper fan duty cycle (should run about 50% of the time at operating temp)
Clean the radiator with AC Condenser Cleaner or in a pinch you can try Simple Green you can get about anywhere
Use an additive like Royal Purple's ICE in the coolant
Do an air purge of the pump and thermostat (watch the video below)
*Race/Mud use* Relocate your radiator to the rear with this kit
